Hello all, happy chinese new year... In spirit of CNY I decided to do a LO with red/orangy/gold colour... And this is my 1st time scrapping with b&w photo. Actually I run out of colour ink/paper, so had to use the b&w.... Anyway, I decided to use my new stamp and stamp the background. I like how this LO turned out, simple & nice :) Btw, that's me with my best friend's daughter :)

While I'm at it, I might do another LO... Will be back with new LO ;)

LO: Smile... It's Contagious

Yeay, finished another LO :) I used the crate pp and also core'dinations cardstock... I just sand the cardstock to give a ditsressed/aged look... I pop-up the photo and also added some crackle accent onto the sticker that spelled the word contagious. But cant really see the cracks yet, coz still wet ehehe

Altered art : vintage box

I've finally finished altering this box :) I 'm gonna keep my brooches in this box, yeay... I love how the box turned out :) Oh, I so so love the prima flower and the say it in crystal... ;)

Since it took me a few steps (gesso-paint-adding pp-embellish) to alter this box, I'm gonna equal it as 5 LO... So total so far 8, wuhooo 92 more to go! ;)

Ok I better get some sleep now... Nite2....

Quest

Hello... I'm back from a short trip... I can't wait to get back at scrapping... I have lotsa new & old photos to scrap ehehehe I must get cracking soon! Now that my new blind is up, the scrap room seemed brighter n larger... Just need a little touch up here n there :)

On the other hand, some of my scrap buddies are in a quest of 100 LOs for this year... that's abt 8-9 LOs per month... Ermmmm let see if I can join in the "fun" ahahaha But I think I'll follow Mich's style:

1) One mini album = 5 layouts
2) A simple altered item = 3 layouts
3) A large altered item = 5 layouts

And so far I've only done 2 LOs! So I must get myself busy ahahahha

Ok la, need to catch up on stuffs... Hopefully after that I can scrap... Have a nice day!

Layout: Friends

Finally finished this LO! Played with distress embossing powder and the new prima flowers. I like the effect of the distress embossing, tho cant really see from the pic but when you touch it, it gives different texture to the LO... I loike... TFL :)

It seemed like ages ago since I last did a LO... So that's my latest LO, the first for 2009... Yeay, finally I'm back scrapping phewwww I should be scrapping more ahahaha

Hopefully I'll update with more LOs after this :)
